- Amended Notice of the Regular Meeting Agenda of the PLANNING COMMISSION OF LAYTON, UTAH FOR March 27, 2018 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Layton, Utah, will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, in the City Council Chambers, 437 North Wasatch Drive, Layton, Utah, at 7:00 p.m. A work meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. for review of agenda items. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MARCH 13, 2018 PUBLIC HEARING 1. ADAMS REZONE The applicant, Mike Adams, representing Mary Ann Bundy and Jan Nelson - Trustees of the John Vernon Adams Family Living Trust, owner of the property, is requesting a rezone from A (Agriculture) to C-TH (Condominium/Townhouse) at 796 N Fairfield Rd. 2. ALVEY REZONE The applicant, Nathan Alvey, representing the owner, Roshelle Dean Alvey, is requesting a rezone from R-1-8 (Single Family Residential) to MU (Mixed Use) at 393 and 379 W 1350 N. 3. OUTDOOR STORAGE, MINI-STORAGE UNITS, INDOOR STORAGE - ORDINANCE AMENDMENT A proposal to amend Ordinance 18-22: Amending Layton Municipal Code - Title 19 (Zoning), Section 19.020.020 (Definitions) removing 'Mini-Storage Units' and adding 'Contractor Storage Yard', 'Heavy Equipment Rental/Sales and Storage', 'Self-Storage Facility', and 'Warehouse and Distribution'; Repealing and Re-enacting Section 19.06.140 'Self-storage Facility Requirements'; and Amending Table 6-1 and 6-2 'Table of Land Use Regulations' PUBLIC REVIEW 4. WYNDOM SQUARE - CONDITIONAL USE The applicant, Spencer Wright representing Wyndom Square, LLC, is requesting a conditional use for Kennels, Boarding within the CP-1 (Planned Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district. The address is 1330 E Highway 193. 5. JACOBSON PRUD PHASE 2 - PRELIMINARY PLAT The applicant, Bob Stevenson, is requesting preliminary plat approval to develop .81 acres of property, located at 1850 N Valley View Dr. in the R-1-10 (Single Family Residential) zoning district.
