AGENDA HIGHLAND CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Tuesday, March 27, 2018, 7:00 p.m. Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Drive, Highland Utah CALL TO ORDER: Chris Kemp, Chair - Attendance - Chris Kemp, Chair - Invocation - Commissioner Abe Day - Pledge of Allegiance - Commissioner Jerry Abbott OATH OF OFFICE: The City Recorder will administer the oath of office to Planning Commission Members Brady Brammer, and Tim Ball. APPEARANCES: Time has been set aside for the public to express their ideas, concerns, and comments on non-agenda items. Speakers will be limited to three (3) minutes. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS: 1. Z-18-01: Darin Juncker of New Element Construction is requesting a rezone of 5.475 acres located at 5959 W 10100 N from R-1-40 to R-1-20. Legislative 2. TA-17-05: Text amendment to the Signs in Commercial Zones section of the Development Code relating to monument signs for service stations. Legislative OTHER BUSINESS: 3. Development Code Update. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: - Approval of the November 28, 2017 meeting minutes. - Approval of the March 14, 2018 meeting minutes PLANNING STAFF REPORT: COMMISSION COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS: ADJOURNMENT: NEXT MEETING: April 24, 2018 at 7:00 pm City Council Chambers Legislative: An action of a legislative body to adopt laws or polices. Administrative: An action reviewing an application for compliance with adopted laws and policies.
