PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the City & County Building, 451 South State Street, Room 326, Salt Lake City, Utah. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comment on a draft project area plan for the Stadler Rail Community Reinvestment Area ('CRA'). On November 14, 2017, the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City adopted a resolution authorizing the preparation of a draft community reinvestment project area plan for the proposed single property owner project area located at 150 South 5600 West, Salt Lake City, Utah. Since this resolution was adopted, the RDA has been working on an economic development strategy for the Stadler Rail Community Reinvestment Area. Property tax revenues resulting from an increase in valuation of property within the project area or proposed project area will be paid to the Agency for project area development rather than to the taxing entity to which the tax revenues would otherwise have been paid. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. Written comments may also be submitted to the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City regarding the proposed CRA Plan prior to the date of the public hearing. Under Utah Code 17C-1-808, any person objecting to the proposed project area plan or contesting the regularity of any of the proceedings to adopt the proposed project area plan may appear before the board at the hearing to show cause why the proposed project area plan should not be adopted. The proposed project area plan is available in the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City's offices. A copy of the boundary description will be provided at no cost by contacting the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City, P.O. Box 145518, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-5518, by telephone at (801) 535-7240, or may retrieve the boundary description by accessing the Agency's website at www.slcrda.com.
