NOTICE AND AGENDA -AMENDED NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold two consecutive Public Hearings along with its regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center, Gunnison, UT 84634 1) Invocation 2) Public Comment 3) 7:00 p.m. Public Hearing to Receive Public Comment Regarding the Skate Park at the City Park in Determining the Best Path Forward and Future of the Skate Park; the Current Skate Park is Aging and is in Need of Serious repair and/or cost 4) 7:30 p.m. Public Hearing to Receive Public Comments Regarding the G-Hill Project. This entails the Proposed Leasing of +/-338 Acres from State Trust Lands (SITLA) for Recreation Purposes. This Hearing is to Solicit Comments in Determining if the project is (1) Supported by the Public, (2) Feasibility and (3) Long Term Plans for this Area 5) Review of Maintenance Plan for Streets, Sidewalks and Safe to School Sidewalk Grant with Proposed Approval ~ Mayor Nay 6) Discuss and Proposed Approval of Crack Seal Bids for Streets ~ Mayor Nay 7) Discuss Spring Clean Up with Suggestions for Specific Locations for GVHS Students to Assist ~ Councilmember Smith 8) Discuss Shade Tents for the City Park with Proposed Approval of Renting Out for Public Use ~ Councilmember Hill 9) Discuss 4th of July Celebration Plans ~ Councilmember Hill 10) Discuss and Proposed Approval of IT needs for City Hall ~ Councilmember Jensen 11) Review Police Dept. Budget with Proposed Approval of Increased Expenditure for School Resource Officer ~ Councilmember Jensen 12) Discuss Development of Industrial Park ~ Mayor Nay 13) Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, January 31, 2018, Work Session, Wednesday, February 7, 2018, Open and Closed Sessions and Wednesday, February 21, 2018 Open Session 14) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 15) Future Items 16) Closed Session 17) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
