NOTICE OF COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the Cottonwood Heights City Council will hold a Work Session at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, in the Cottonwood Heights City Council Work Room located at 2277 East Bengal Boulevard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah
WORK SESSION
5:00 pm 1. Public Relations Report - Dan Metcalf
(Public Relations Specialist Dan Metcalf, will provide Cottonwood Heights media reports with staff follow-up, where needed.)
2. City Council and Staff Reports
(Each week City Council and staff provide informational reports from attended meetings and each department to allow for a method of keeping up on the day-to-day activities of the City. This report is available on the internet at www.ch.utah.gov. This agenda item is set aside to allow Council members to ask questions or for staff to bring Council up to date of any changes since the report was made.)
6:00 pm 3. Special Reports
a. Legislative Update - Brian Allen
(Mr. Brian Allen, Cottonwood Heights' state lobbyist, will review activity at the State Legislature that might affect Cottonwood Heights or that is important to the city)
b. Easter Events and Butlerville Days Planning - Ms. Ann Eatchel, Events Coordinator
(Ms. Ann Eatchel will provide the City Council with information on upcoming Easter Events and receive direction on the planning of July's Butlerville Days.)
c. Accessory Dwelling Units Proposed Ordinance - Planning Staff
(Mr. Brian Berndt, Director of Community and Economic Development, will lead a discussion on issues dealing with the currently proposed ordinance.)
d. Accessory buildings - Chapter 19.76 Supplementary and Qualifying Rules and Regulations.
(Community and Economic Development Director, Mr. Brian Berndt, will receive direction from council on the proposed text amendment to Chapter 19.76 of the Zoning Ordinance addressing size of accessory building permitted in residential rear yard setbacks.)
e. Holladay Court Contract Report
(Assistant City Manager, Mr. Bryce Haderlie, will provide council with an update on the status of the contract with Holladay City for Justice Court services.)
f. Budget Calendar Planning
(City Manager, Mr. John Park, will propose dates and times to City Council to further define their strategic strategies and enable the City to move forward on the budget process.)
g. Canyon Centre CDRA
(City Manager, Mr. John Park, will provide an update on the Canyon Centre project, and propose a timeline to move forward with a decision on this item.)

On Friday, March 2, 2018 at 1:15 p.m. a copy of the foregoing notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the Cottonwood Heights City Offices, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder. The Agenda was also posted on the City's website at www.ch.utah.gov and the State Public Meeting Notice website at http://pmn.utah.gov
