PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETING Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of Price City, Utah, will hold a Regular Meeting in the Council Chambers, 185 East Main, Price, Utah, at 5:30 PM on 02/28/2018. The Mayor reserves the right to modify the sequence of agenda items in order to facilitate special needs. AGENDA 1. OPENING REMARKS 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. ROLL CALL 4. PUBLIC COMMENT 5. PUBLIC HEARING - Public hearing to receive input on power sales contracts between Price City and UAMPS for the small modular reactor project included in the CFPP project at UAMPS. 6. RESOLUTION NO. 2018-02 - Consideration and possible approval of A Resolution Authorizing and Approving the Carbon Free Power Project Power Sales Contract with Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems; the Initial Budget and Plan of Finance for the Project; and Related Matters. 7. INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT: COMMUNITY BASEBALL COMPLEX - Consideration and possible approval of an Interlocal Agreement between Price City and Carbon School District to enter into a partnership to establish and maintain a Community Baseball Complex on property currently owned by Carbon School District. The agreement defines commitments, financial obligations, and actions required for the reconstruction and long term maintenance of the facility. 8. BASEBALL TOMORROW FUND GRANT: LETTER OF SUPPORT- Consideration and possible approval to provide a Letter of Support to the local Cal Ripken League to pursue a grant from the 'Baseball Tomorrow Fund' for the addition of lighting systems to Fields 4 & 5 at the Atwood Baseball Complex. CONSENT AGENDA 9. MINUTES a. February 14, 2018 City Council Meeting 10. EMPLOYEE PROMOTION - Consideration and possible approval to promote R. Matkin, R. Christensen, and J. Wichmann to W/S/T Operator I, III, and III respectively, according to the Price City Career Ladder. Reference Memo dated February 15, 2018, copy attached. 11. UTILITY POLICY - Consideration and possible approval of changes made to the 'Price City Policy and Procedures Regarding Payment of Utility Accounts, Disconnection and Reconnection Procedures. 12. FIRE DEPARTMENT - Consideration and possible approval to hold the annual Carbon County Humane Society Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Price City Fire Station from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. 13. BUSINESS LICENSES - Consideration and possible of business license for: Zooks Solutions Inc. at 45 E Main Street. 14. TRAVEL REQUESTS - Consideration and possible approval of travel for: Debbie Worley, Police Department - 2018 SWAVO and Grant Training, March 7-9, 2018, Moab, UT 15. UNFINISHED BUSINESS I, Sherrie Gordon, the duly appointed and acting Recorder for Price City, hereby certify that the foregoing City Council Agenda was emailed to the Sun Advocate. The agenda was also posted in City Hall, the City's website at www.priceutah.net, and on the Utah Public Meeting Notice Website http://www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html on February 26, 2018.
