Library Board Meeting Agenda February 21, 2018, 6:30 PM Library, Room 128 1. Welcome Heidi Rodeback, Board Chair 2. Public comment period, limit of ten minutes 3. Approve minutes for January 17, 2018 session 4. Future board member interviews, discussion and action on a recommendation to the Mayor for the replacement of Sharon Haddock. 5. Discussion on the Board's blog and activities Heidi Rodeback 6. Discussion of Librarian Appreciation Day, April 10, 2018 7. Updates a. This is Colleen Eggett's last board meeting. Her last day of work is tomorrow. She will be appointed by the Governor's office to be the new State Librarian. b. Healthy Heart Cooking Feb. 15 at 7 PM, the Library Board Recommends activity. c. Rosetta Stone language learning program is on our website. d. VITA tax help for lower income people, Tuesday nights until April 17. e. Teen video contest March 15-April 12. Extra points for using our green screen. f. Balcony Gallery for February: Barbara Stucki. March: Andrew Davidson. g. Spring storytime registration is going on now. h. Magic Tree House Book Club meets monthly the third Monday at 4 PM for grades 1-3. i. Full STEAM ahead meets monthly the third Thursday at 4 PM for ages 8-11. Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math topics. j. A Proper Tea with Josie Kilpack Feb. 24 at 1 PM, book signing follows. 8. Next meeting: March 21, 6:30 PM. 9. Dismiss
