- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR SNOWVILLE TRUCK & TRAVEL PLAZA REMEDIATION Notice is hereby given for a public hearing to discuss the remediation activities planned for the petroleum cleanup project at the former Snowville Truck and Travel Plaza, 45 S Stone Road, Snowville, UT 84336 (Facility ID No. 0100195, Release Site JFP). The hearing will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday 2/22/18 and will be held at Snowville Town Hall, 20 West Main Street Snowville, UT 84336. It is proposed to excavate the petroleum-contaminated soil from the site and transport it to another property for remediation using landfarming/bioremediation. Further information can be obtained by contacting Tammie Morgan, Snowville Town Clerk at 435-872-8501 or Kevin Beery, DERR Project Manager at 801-536-4100 or Ryan Taylor and Kim Coburn, GDA Engineers at 435-315-3168. Comments on the proposed project will be solicited, both verbally and in writing, from all interested parties.
