Public Notice Notice is hereby given of consecutive Public Hearings scheduled by the Gunnison City Council on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Public Hearings will be held at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center in conjunction with the regularly scheduled city council meeting. The purpose of the Public Hearings is to receive public comment on: 1. 7:00 p.m. Public Hearing to receive comments regarding the skate park at the city park in determining the best path forward and future of the skate park; the current skate park is aging and is in need of serious repair and/or cost. 2. 7:30 p.m. Public Hearing to receive comments regarding the G-Hill Project. This entails the proposed leasing of +/-338 acres from State Trust Lands (SITLA) for recreation purposes. This hearing is to solicit comments in determining if the project is (1) supported by the public, (2) feasibility and (3) long term plans for this area. In compliance with ADA, those citizens in need of assistance may contact the City Offices at 435-528-7969 at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting.
