SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. a public hearing will be held in Room 315, Council Chambers, City County Building, 451 South State, Salt Lake City, Utah, before the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance relating to Petition No. PLNPCM2017-00272. A proposed ordinance is before the Council to amend Chapter 21A.42 of the Salt Lake City Code pertaining to regulations governing temporary uses. Temporary Use permits are issued for a wide variety of events including festivals, fundraisers, temporary good service. Christmas Tree Sales, etc. The proposed changes are designed to clear up confusion and clarify the code by specifying the types of uses and structures that are allowed and the standards that regulate them (Petition - Mayor Jacki Biskupski). All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. The City & County Building is an accessible facility.
