Description/Agenda: Plain City officials are looking to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission in February, 2018 for a five-year term. The commission serves as an advisory board to the City Council, reviews applications and construction plans for development, reviews matters concerning capital improvements, zoning regulations and environmental interests, and coordinates long-range planning for growth management and transportation. They have a regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at City Hall, 4160 W 2200 N. Occasionally, associated activities and supplementary meetings require commission participation. Applicants are asked to present a letter of interest by January 31, 2018 - in person, to City Hall.
