PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Milford Public Library Board will hold a Regular Meeting, reserving the right to go into Executive Session on Thursday, January 25th, 2018 at the Library Building, located at 400 South 100 West, which shall begin at 5:00 P.M. (sharp) NOTICE & AGENDA 6:00 PM - Call to Order & Roll Call 1. Welcome Recognition & Response to Visitors relating to Library Business 2. Member(s) of Friends of the Library Organization 3. Thanks to the Friends of the Library for them purchasing fourteen durable chairs for the Library Consent Issues 4. Minutes of November 9th 2017 (Regular Meeting) 5. Financial Report Old Business 6. Read Minutes from last Meeting. 7. Special thanks to 'Friends of the Library for decorating the Library. 8. Special thanks to Shane Payne for his volunteering. New Business 9. Introductions and welcome of new Library Board Members, brief tour of the Library and current focus. 10. City agreed at one point to concrete the back patio, is that still a concern? 11. Kreimer v. Morristown, confirmed that patrons can be excluded use of the Library if personal hygiene is offensive to others, this concern has recently surfaced again, would like approval to enforce. 12. Items needed for the Library, Laminator, New Printer, bookshelves for YA, Juvenile and ER sections, additional technology to encourage Tweens (10-15) to utilize our services, possible monthly Science Experiments 13. Story-hour participation is such that it is difficult to provide reasonable accommodations to all the kids that attend. 14. Appoint a Board Secretary (take minutes), Appoint an Alternate Board President to act in behalf if absent. 15. Recommend adding New Board Member Colton Paice. These public places being 1) Milford City Office; 2) U.S. Post Office, 3) Milford Public Library. The foregoing Notice & Agenda was also delivered to each member of the Library Board and posted at www.milfordcityutah.com and utah.gov.pmn
