- Notice of the Regular Meeting Agenda of the PLANNING COMMISSION OF LAYTON, UTAH FOR January 23, 2018 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Layton, Utah, will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, in the City Council Chambers, 437 North Wasatch Drive, Layton, Utah, at 7:00 p.m. A work meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. for review of agenda items. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION APPROVAL OF MINUTES: NOVEMBER 14, 2017, DECEMBER 12, 2017, AND JANUARY 9, 2018 PUBLIC HEARING 1. ALLRED REZONE The applicant, Austin Allred, is requesting a rezone of .505 acres from R-S (Residential Suburban) to R-1-10 (Single Family Residential), located at 1675 N Cherry Ln. 2. WILKIN REZONE The applicant, Brandi Wilkin, representing Troy and Holly Opheikens, is requesting a rezone of 1.0 acre from A (Agriculture) to R-S, located at 721 N 2200 W. 3. KENNELS, BOARDING - TEXT AMENDMENT Draft Ordinance 17-51: Amending Layton Municipal Code - Title 19 (Zoning), Section 19.14.100 (Conditions Relating To Specific Types Of Uses), modifying the requirements of Item 5. (Kennels), and amending Table 6-1 and 6-2 (Table Of Land Use Regulations) to include 'Kennels, Boarding' as a conditional use in the CP-1 (Planned Neighborhood Commercial) and CP-2 (Planned Community Commercial) zoning districts.
