Arts Commission reporting duty to change?
Soup N' Bowl is March 2nd 17th Annual
I've asked the DSU ceramic dept. to continue their support of the event through making bowls, instead of the Celebrity or Community Pot Throw which seemed to have lived its life. We will connect with Robert Schmidt about obtaining bowls from the schools once more. Jennifer Vigil of the Rec Dept. has pledged 30+ bowls from her and her students.
Sponsorships for event (will send out list of prior sponsors)
Ticket Sales (should have tickets printed to sell by Feb. 1)
Silent Auction Pieces need to be procured
Attached are documents about last year's assignments, sponsor levels, Carol Lakin's postmortem, & last year's totals.
OLD BUSINESS
Are there any further comments/ideas on the 20 events for 20 years, including Winter Solstice thoughts/ideas?
We are now focusing for the first few months of the year through two exhibits (Sayaka Ganz & Dana Russell) on recycling. I've contacted the City waste & recycling also (the latter has not got back to me). Does anyone have other thoughts or ideas that we could consider implementing?
