Holladay Tree Committee Agenda 4:00pm January 4, 2018 I. Introductions/Attendees: II. Review Actions/Assignments and Activity from Prior Month: - Dennis - Update on tree committee portion of Holladay web page - - Steve - Cottonwood Mall project and how it will impact trees in Holladay - - Steve - Ordinance Update - - Kim - $5000 earmarked from Garden Club for Holladay to use toward trees - - All - Arbor Day planning 16 weeks away. What shall we do as a committee this year? Planting, Education, Celebration? - All - discuss 2018 Goals and what can be done to get them completed: i. - Voucher program enhancement - advertisement - word of mouth thru neighbors of voucher recipients - hold a tree open house in late Mar/early Apr where applications and approvals can be done on the spot ii. - Educational advertisement/PSA through Cottonwood Journal, Tree of the month iii. - Plan a large Arbor Day planting/Celebration - reach out to Arts Council to try and get support from other city groups III. Upcoming Events: IV. Assignments: - - V. Ongoing Projects that need continued volunteer help: - Social Media relations - Facebook & Email management - Voucher program volunteers - verification/documentation/issuance VI.
