- SALT LAKE CITY PLANNING DIVISION APPEALS HEARING AGENDA Thursday, January 11, 2018 5:00 p.m. City & County Building 451 S State Street, Room 326 Salt Lake City, Utah 84111 A public hearing will be held on the following matter. Comments from the Appellant, City Staff and the public will be taken. Variance Request at approximately 353 E Coatsville Avenue - Pablo Gotay, architect representing the property owner, is requesting a variance to construct a new single-family dwelling with interior side yard setbacks that measure 3 feet on one side and 8 feet on the other, instead of the minimum requirement of 4 feet and 8 feet, respectively. The subject property is zoned R-1/5,000 Single Family Residential and is located within Council District 5, represented by Erin Mendenhall. The Appeals Hearing Officer reserves the right to change the order of agenda items as deemed necessary.
