CITY COUNCIL MEETING DECEMBER 13, 2017 5:30 P.M. The City Council meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at the City Office, 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah. The agenda will consist of the following items: I. Call to Order II. Agenda Order Approval III. Administration Agenda - Mayor and Council Business - Staff Comment o Employee of the Month, Cathy Macfarlane IV. Public Agenda - Public Comments V. Business Agenda Public Consent Agenda 1. Approval of minutes dated November 15 & 29, 2017 2. Approval of bills dated December 11, 2017 3. Approve granting an access easement across City property to the properties located at 304 South and 330 South on Spring Canyon Road. Platt & Platt/Kit Wareham 4. Approve vicinity plan for Sycamore Trails Phase 3 PUD. Mark Meisner/Kit Wareham 5. Approve bid from ERO Stout Construction, Inc. in the amount of $209,000.00 for the South Tank re-coating (phase3) project. Jonathan Stathis 6. Approve bid from Urieco Construction in the amount $646,487.66 for the Quichapa Well #1 replacement (well house & equipment) project. Jonathan Stathis 7. Approve an agreement with Dorsett Technologies in the amount of $30,335.34for SCADA system work at Quichapa Well #1. Jonathan Stathis 8. Approve an electrical service agreement with Rocky Mountain Power for Quichapa Well #1. Jonathan Stathis 9. Approve granting a public utility easement to Rocky Mountain Power to run a powerline across City property to Quichapa Well #1. Jonathan Stathis 10. Approve purchase of new vehicle in the amount of $69,000.00 using Wildland money. Mike Phillips 11. Approve the 2018 Council meeting schedule. Renon Savage Action Agenda 12. Public Hearing for the Community Development Block Grant funding. 13. Approve an ordinance amending the City's General Land Use Plan from Highway Service (HS) to Central Commercial (CC) for property located on the south side of 200 North from 600 West 700 West. Approve an ordinance amending the zone from Highway Service (HS) to Central Commercial (CC) for property located on the south side of 200 North from 600 West to 700 West. Platt & Platt / Tyler Romeril 15. Approve an agreement with Southwest Plumbing Supply to defer the construction of public improvements on 100 East. Ryan Nelson, Southwest Plumbing Supply 16. Closed Session, property negotiations 17. Consider an ordinance changing the zone ordinance, parking for single-occupancy bedroom from .85 to .65 per bedroom.
