CITY COUNCIL AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Draper City Council will hold a Business Meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 in the City Council Chambers at 1020 East Pioneer Road, Draper, Utah. The Agenda will be as follows: 5:30 p.m. 1. Dinner 6:00 p.m. 2. Discussion Regarding City Facilities Related to the New Draper High School 6:30 p.m. 3. Adjourn to Redevelopment Agency Meeting (Timings listed for each item on the agenda are approximate and may be accelerated) BUSINESS MEETING – 7:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. 1.0 Welcome: Mayor Darrell Smith 7:05 p.m. 2.0 Comment/Prayer and Flag Ceremony: to be announced 7:10 p.m. 3.0 Presentation: Leon McKendrick, Emergency Management District Representative 7:20 p.m. 4.0 Citizen Comments: To be considerate of everyone attending the meeting and to more closely follow the published agenda times, public comments will be restricted to items not listed on the agenda and limited to three minutes per person per item. A spokesperson who has been asked by a group to summarize their concerns will be allowed five minutes to speak. Comments which cannot be made within these limits should be submitted in writing to the City Recorder prior to noon the day before the meeting. Comments pertaining to an item on the agenda should not be given at this time but should be held until that item is called. 7:30 p.m. 5.0 Consent Items: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for September 21, 2010 and September 28, 2010. b. Agreement #10-60, with T-Mobile for an Easement Located at Approximately 12226 South 1000 East. c. Estoppel Certificate Regarding the Acquisition and Reimbursement Agreement and the Development and Reimbursement Agreement for Draper Peaks Shopping Center d. Estoppel Certificate Regarding the Crescent Neighborhood Development Plan for Draper Peaks Shopping Center e. Consolidated Geological Hazard Notice Regarding Draper Peaks Shopping Center 7:35 p.m. 6.0 Public Hearing: Ordinance #949 – Amending Title 9 of the Draper City Municipal Code regarding revisions to the land uses allowable in the various commercial zones of the City, their definitions, and the provisions regulating Conditional Use Permits. (Application #100425-1020E). Staff Presentation by Jim Bolser. 7:50 p.m. 7.0 Action Item: Agreement #10-59, Awarding the Bid for the Park Restroom and Bridge Construction to Westbrook Construction. Staff Presentation by David Decker. 8:00 p.m. 8.0 Council/Manager Reports 8:30 p.m. 9.0 Adjournment to Closed Meeting to discuss litigation, property acquisition and the character and professional competence or physical or mental health of an individual.
