REGULAR SESSION AGENDA
PUBLIC HEARING
The American Fork City Council will hold public hearings on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street as follows:
7:20 p.m. Receiving public comment on the Tri Mitchell Annexation Plat A, consisting of 15.40 acres at approximately 530 West 1120 North.
7:25 p.m. Receiving public comment on the Sharp Annexation, consisting of 7.499 acres at approximately 1450 South 500 East.
REGULAR SESSION
The American Fork City Council will meet in a regular session on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street, commencing at 7:30 p.m. The agenda shall be as follows:
1. Pledge of Allegiance; prayer by Councilman Shorter; roll call.
2. Twenty-minute public comment period - limited to two minutes per person.
3. City Administrator's Report.
4. Council Reports concerning Committee Assignments.
5. Mayor's Report
COMMON CONSENT AGENDA
(Common Consent is that class of Council action that requires no further discussion or which is routine in nature. All items on the Common Consent Agenda are adopted by a single motion unless removed from the Common Consent Agenda.)
1. Approval of the October 17, 2017 work session minutes
2. Approval of the October 24, 2017 city council minutes
3. Approval of authorization to release the Improvements Durability Retainer of $1,361.25 for Fairways at Temple View Plat B, located at 1352 North 100 East. (Requested by Scott Sensanbaugher, Public Works)
4. Approval of a partial release for the performance guarantee bond in the amount of $917,346.29 for Fields of Timpanogos Apartments located at 740 East 320 South. (Requested by Scott Sensanbaugher, Public Works)
5. Approval of authorization to release the Improvements Construction Guarantee in the amount of $75,620.00 and issue a Notice of Acceptance for the South Point Phase 1 construction of public improvements located at 740 East 400 South. (Requested by Scott Sensanbaugher, Public Works)
6. Approval of a partial release for the performance guarantee bond in the amount of $311,029.00 for South Point Phase 4 located at 740 East 400 South. (Requested by Scott Sensanbaugher, Public Works)
ACTION ITEMS
1. Ratification of city payments (October 17, 2017 to November 7, 2017) and approval of purchase requests over $25,000.
2. Review and action on an ordinance amending Section 17.9 of the city code relating to performance guarantees. (Requested by Terilyn Lurker, Recorder)
3. Review and action on subdivisions, commercial projects, condominiums, and PUD's including 1) plat approval; 2) method of satisfaction of water rights requirements; 3) posting of an improvement bond or setting of a time frame for improvement installation; and 4) authorization to sign the final plat and acceptance of all dedications to the public and to have the plat recorded.
a. Review and action on the final plat of Mitchell Meadows Plat C, consisting of 9 lots, located in the vicinity of 900 North 900 West in the R-1-12,000 Residential zone. (Requested by Adam Olsen, Planning)
b. Review and action on the final plat for Kentson Auto Plat A Subdivision, located at 652 South 500 East in the GC-2 Planned Commercial zone. (Requested by Adam Olsen, Planning)
c. Review and action on an ordinance approving a commercial site plan for Kentson Car Company, located at 652 South 500 East in the GC-2 Planned Commercial zone. (Requested by Adam Olsen, Planning)
