NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE
Carbon County
Carbon County is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
-The Carbon County tax on a $138,000 residence would increase from $41.21 to $59.75, which is $18.54 per year.
-The Carbon tax on a $138,000 business would increase from $74.93 to $108.64, which is $33.71 per year.
-If the proposed budget is approved, Carbon County would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 44.99% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding new growth.
All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.

-The Carbon County Municipal Services tax on a $154,000 residence would increase from $24.48 to $197.64, which is $173.16 per year.
-The Carbon County Municipal Services tax on a $154,000 business would increase from $44.51 to $359.36, which is $314.85 per year.
-If the proposed budget is approved, Carbon County Municipal Services would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 707.36% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding new growth.
