NOTICE OF PENDING CONVEYANCE OF OGDEN CITY PROPERTY Pursuant to Ogden Municipal Code Section 4-3A-5 notice is hereby given of a pending conveyance of real property owned by Ogden City. As part of any sale, lease, trade, or other encumbrance of a qualified parcel of real property, notice of the pendency of such transaction is provided to the City Council and the public is provided an opportunity to comment on the proposed transaction. Accordingly, the City provides notice of the following pending conveyance and public hearing: Conveyor: Ogden City Corporation Persons to who interests are to be conveyed: Utah Department of Transportation Description of the property to be conveyed: Two parcels of property totaling 192 square feet of land located at the northeast and southeast corners of 20th Street and Wall Avenue. The nature of the proposed conveyance and a brief summary of the proposed transaction: Traffic on 20th Street on the west side of Wall Avenue is currently one-way heading west. It is proposed to change 20th Street to a two-way street. In order to install the necessary signals to allow this change in traffic flow, the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) needs to have signals installed on land that is currently within Ogden City’s right-of-way on the east side of Wall Avenue. UDOT requires that the pad where the signal poles are placed be owned by UDOT. Any consideration tendered: $1,550.00. Public Comment: The mayor will hold a public hearing about the proposed donation on October 8, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Conference Room on the 9th Floor of the Municipal Building.
