NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The Utah Educational Savings Plan (UESP) has a proprietary record-keeping system that is used by its staff. UESP seeks to enter into a new contract for professional services, including software and computer programming services, associated with its proprietary record-keeping system. UESP has determined that there are adequate grounds to issue a sole source contract pursuant to Utah Procurement Code section 63G-6a-802(1). This public notice is being provided pursuant to Utah Code section 63G-6a-112. UESP is both the conducting procurement unit and the procurement unit acquiring the procurement item. The opening date for this solicitation is September 25, 2017 and it will close on October 2, 2017. A person may contest this sole source request prior to the closing of the solicitation period by submitting the following information in writing to UESP: (a) the name of the contesting person; and (b) a detailed explanation of the challenge, including documentation showing that there are other competing sources for the procurement item. No action is required if you agree this proposed purchase is a valid sole source request. UESP may be contacted at the following address to obtain a copy of any procurement documents, contesting the sole source request, or to obtain additional information relating to the sole source procurement: J.
