Hurricane City Council Meeting Agenda September 07, 2017 5:00 PM City Council Chambers - 147 N 870 W Notice is hereby given that the City Council will hold a Regular Meeting in the City Hall Council Chambers at 147 N 870 W, Hurricane, UT. A silent roll call will be taken, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and prayer by invitation. THOSE WISHING TO SPEAK DURING PUBLIC FORUM MUST SIGN IN WITH THE RECORDER BY 6:00 P.M. AGENDA 5:00 p.m. Pre-meeting - Discussion of Agenda Items, Department Reports 6:00 p.m. - Call to Order Approval of Council minutes: 07/20/2017, 08/03/2017 6:15 p.m. - Public Forum - Comments from Public Please Note: In order to be considerate of everyone attending the meeting and to more closely follow the published agenda, public comments will be limited to 2 minutes per person per item. A spokesperson representing a group to summarize their concerns will be allowed 5 minutes to speak. Repetitious commentary will not be allowed. If you need additional time, please request agenda time with Kaden DeMille in writing before 5:00 p.m. the Wednesday one week before the Council meeting. OLD BUSINESS 1. Review and possible approval of a bid for Parks Department parking lot NEW BUSINESS 2. Report from the Art in the Park Foundation-Jerry Eves 3. Consideration and possible decision regarding request in reduction of security deposit fees or bond in lieu deposit-The Retreat at Sky Mountain Apartments 4. Discussion and possible decision regarding request to create a resolution denouncing anti-Semitism and other forms of hate and adopting a zero tolerance policy-Cynthia Cashin 5. Consideration and possible approval of a development agreement for a proposed zone change from R-1-15, Single Family Residential 15,000 sq. ft. lots, to M-1, Light Industrial with an agreement to limit the uses to RV, boat, and trailer storage and sales, on approximately 5 acres of collapsible soil located at 2100 South 700 West-Jason Campbell manager for Kay's Circle, applicant 6. Public Hearing to take comments on a proposed General Plan Map amendment from Single Family Residential up to 8 units per acre to Multi-family housing types for 4+ acres located at approximately 200 North 3700 West 7. Consideration and possible approval of a proposed General Plan Map amendment from Single Family Residential up to 8 units per acre to Multi-family housing types for 4+ acres located at approximately 200 North 3700 West-Stone Gardens, LLC, Jeff Morby 8. Consideration and possible approval of a zone change request from R-1-10 to HC on 1.18 acres located on the north side of 860 North along the SR-9 frontage-Tyler Oler applicant 9.
