- NOTICE OF A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE WASHINGTON COUNTY WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Washington County Water Conservancy District, Washington County, Utah will meet in public session on Tuesday, October 18, 2008, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at 136 North 100 East, St. George, Utah. The agenda for the meeting includes the following: 1. Approval of St. George Airport Community Development Area (CDA) plan and budget. 2. Presentation by Vanguard Media on recent public opinion survey. 3. Authorization to approve change order for furnishings at new office building. 4. Authorization to approve contract for purchase of standby generation for new office building. 5. Approval of investment of $10 million in Utah Water Finance Agency Series A-2 variable rate bonds. 6. Approval of changing November board meeting to Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. due to conflict with National Water Resources Association (NWRA) conference. 7. Approval of change of December board meeting and Budget Public Hearing to Wed. December 10 at 6 p.m. 8. Upcoming calendar items: WCWCD Christmas Party, Monday, Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m. (Staheli Catering Town Hall) December Board Meeting and Public Hearing, Wed. Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. NWRA (San Diego) Nov. 19-21 CRWUA (Las Vegas – Caesar’s Palace) Dec. 15-17 9. Status reports: Lake Powell Pipeline project New Office Building Water treatment plant issues 10.
