NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold a Public Hearing along with a City Council meeting on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. These will be held at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center. 1) Invocation 2) 6:00 p.m. Public Hearing to Receive Public Comment regarding Submission of an Application to the Permanent Community Impact Board (CIB) for Funding of a Safe to School Sidewalk Project. Comments will be Solicited Concerning the Size, Scope and Nature of the Funding Request for the Project. 3) Proposed Approval to Pursue Application to CIB for Safe to School Sidewalk Project 4) Review Added Information and Proposed Approval of Expenditures for Christensen Well ~ Councilmember Donaldson and John Iverson, Sunrise Engineering 5) Proposed Approval of New Recreation Board Member ~ Councilmember Andersen 6) Proposed Approval of Two Community Representatives to Sit on the Sanpete County Nominating Committee 7) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 8) Future Items 9) Closed Session 10) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-5(1) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, if public discussion of the transaction would: (i) disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration; or (ii) prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms.
