NOTICE OF A REGULAR COMMISSION MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WEBER COUNTY, UTAH PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the 3rd day of August 2010. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome - Commissioner Bischoff B. Pledge of Allegiance - Alan McEwan C. Thought of the Day - Commissioner Bischoff D. Consent Items 1. Request for approval of Purchase Orders. 2. Request for approval of Warrants #264643 - #264821 in the amount of $733,536.56. 3. Request for approval of minutes for the meeting held on July 27, 2010. 4. Request for approval to set the date of August 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. for a public hearing regarding a Zoning Petition to amend the Weber County Zoning Ordinance Chapter 31 Administration. 5. Request for approval of a new business license. 6. Request for approval of the Tax Review Committee’s recommendations on the following accounts: #1916 Mark’s American Car Care Center #09-551-0012 Brian Nuttall #19-033-0098 & 19-033-0101 Penny Barnes #22-049-0035 & 22-051-0076 Scott Lewis E. Action Items 1. Request for approval to release approximately $4,000 to Jack V. Stoker for complying with all of the improvements and requirements set forth in an ‘Escrow Agreement’ dated 6 June 1974 in reference to an Excavation and Rehabilitation Plan outlined for Mr. Stoker’s gravel pit located northeast of Huntsville. Presenter: John Bond 2. Request for approval of a Quit Claim Deed for Wilford M. Hale and Genine Hale, Trustees of the Wilford and Genine Hale Family Trust. Presenter: Nate Pierce 3. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Tammy Hunt to have hand painted signs for the 2010 Weber County Fair. Presenter: Jan Wilson 4. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Rockin’ Roadshow/Radio Disney Group, LLC, to have Rockin’ Roadshow perform at the 2010 Weber County Fair. Presenter: Jan Wilson 5. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Josh Shelton to have the Weber County Fair Rock Band Competition at the 2010 Weber County Fair. Presenter: Jan Wilson 6. Request to designate the Weber Arts Council as a “Local Arts Agency” for consideration by the Utah Division of Arts and Museums.
