NOTICE is hereby given that the WASATCH COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION will hold a Public Hearing on August 12, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wasatch County Council Chambers, located at 25 North Main Street, Heber City, to consider the following items:
1. Steve Palmer, agent for the Heber Valley Camp, requests site plan approval for 10-RV sites as a temporary use for the LDS missionaries working at the camp. The site identified for this use is camp SC-3, which will be the permanent location for eight (8) cabin units for missionaries. This proposal would allow the infrastructures to be installed to meet the current and future needs at the camp. The RV sites will be replaced with cabins in the future. The project is located in Section 15, Township 4 South, Range 6 of the Eastern Planning Area.
2. Darrel W. Stubbs, owner of property between the Heber Valley Special Service District (HVSSD) sewer lagoons and Midway City, wants to change the zone from Industrial (1) to Residential Agricultural (RA-1). The approximately 24-acre property is located in Section 2, Township 4 South, Range 4 East in the Western Valley Planning Area. *Recommendation by the Planning Commission on this item will be considered by the County Council at a Public Hearing on November 3, 2010.
3. LeeRoy Farrell, agent for Tuhaye, LLC, is requesting final approval of phase 1 and approval to vacate and amend the existing Moon Dance phase 1 plat of the Tuhaye development. Final phase 1 plat approval is for 10 units on 4.38 acres. The project is located in Section 27, Township 2 South, Range 5 East, in the JBOZ (Jordanelle Basin Overlay Zone). *Recommendation by the Planning Commission on the vacation portion of this item will be considered by the County Council at a Public Hearing on August 18, 2010.
