Approval of the Minutes:
Item No. 1. The Providence City Planning Commission will consider for approval the minutes of February 22, 2017.
Public Comments: Citizens may appear before the Planning Commission to express their views on issues within the City's jurisdiction. Comments will be addressed to the Commission. Remarks are limited to 3 minutes per person. The total time allotted to public comment is 15 minutes.

Proposed Rezone: The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for anyone interested to comment on a proposed rezone of the north portion of Parcel No 02-090-0011, approximately 305 South HWY 165, Providence UT, approximately 4.43 acres from Commercial General Highway District (CHD) to Mixed Use District (MXD) before action is taken. The Planning Commission invites you to attend the hearing in order to offer your comments. You may also email comments to the City Recorder, sbankhead@providence.utah.gov by 2:00 PM the day of the meeting.

Proposed Code Amendment: The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for anyone interested to comment on amending Providence City Code Title 10 Zoning Regulations, Chapter 5 Overlay Zones by changing Overlay Zones to Sensitive Areas, clarifying the information used in determining sensitive areas, and clarifying the definitions for hazard slope, before action is taken. The Planning Commission invites you to attend the hearing in order to offer your comments. You may also email comments to the City Recorder, sbankhead@providence.utah.gov by 2:00 PM the day of the meeting.

Proposed Code Amendment: The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for anyone interested to comment on amending Providence City Code Title 11 Subdivision Regulations, Chapter 1 General Provision by changing the definition of Minor Street (Residential & Minor); and Chapter 4 Design Standards, by amending the arrangement of streets, clarifying the costs of new roads and repairs to existing roads caused by development, clarifying the grades for intersections with pedestrian crossings, grades through cul-de-sacs, adding 'swales', and amending Nonconnecting streets/turnarounds, before action is taken. The Planning Commission invites you to attend the hearing in order to offer your comments. You may also email comments to the City Recorder, sbankhead@providence.utah.gov by 2:00 PM the day of the meeting.

Item No. 3. Preliminary Plat: The Providence Planning Commission will consider for approval a preliminary plat for the Providence Hollows Second Amendment Plat; dividing Lot 1 into two lots, located at 529 North 470 East, Providence UT. (Discussion time approximately 10 minutes)
Item No. 4. Preliminary Plat: The Providence Planning Commission will consider for approval a preliminary plat for the Booth Subdivision; a 2 lot residential subdivision located at 685 South 300 East, Providence UT. (Discussion time approximately 10 minutes)
