- Notice to Fill Midterm Vacancy in Municipal Office In accordance with Utah Code 20A-1-510, notice is hereby given that Marriott-Slaterville City will be accepting names for consideration from qualified registered voters in Marriott-Slaterville City who desire to be considered for appointment to fill a midterm vacancy on the City Council for a seat in the West District. The unexpired term of this midterm vacancy will expire on January 1, 2018. Qualifications for consideration are: be a United States Citizen, be a registered voter of Marriott-Slaterville, reside in the West District, and have been a resident of Marriott-Slaterville for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months. Interested persons should inquire at the office of the City Recorder during regular office hours (Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and not later than 5:00 PM on March 15, 2017. Qualified persons who have formally submitted their name will be interviewed and considered for appointment by the City Council during the regular meeting on March 16, 2017, at 6:30 PM at Marriott-Slaterville City, 1570 West 400 North, Marriott-Slaterville, Utah 84404.
