NOTICE AND AGENDA - AMENDED NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison Valley Police Department Board has called an Emergency Meeting and will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. The Meeting will be held at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center and will begin at 5:00 p.m. 1) Review GVPD Board Bylaws with Proposed Approval 2) Discuss Appointment of Police Chief for GVPD 3) Proposed Approval and Appointment of Police Chief for GVPD 4) Discuss Police Department Vehicles with Proposed Approval of Necessary Changes 5) Discuss eFORCE Software with Proposed Approval of Changes Needed 6) Review Records Management with Proposed Policy Approval 7) Future Items 8) Closed Session 9) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-5(1) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, if public discussion of the transaction would: (i) disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration; or (ii) prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms.
