Elwood UT 84337 a protest to the annexation petition may be filed by the legislative body or governing board of an affected entity (or for a proposed annexation of an area within a county of the first class, if it contains the signatures of the owners of real property that: (1) is located in the unincorporated areas within 1/2 mile of the area proposed for annexation; (2) covers at least 25% of the private land area located in the unincorporated area within 1/2 mile of the area proposed for annexation; and (3) is equal in value to at least 15% of all real property located in the incorporated area within 1/2 mile of the area proposed for annexation).
