NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Gunnison City Hall, 34 East 100 North, beginning at 7:00 p.m 1) Discussion regarding process for filling City Council Vacancy-Miles Millard, Stirba and Associates. 2)Proposed Memorandum of Understanding for City Council’s Approval Regarding Senior Citizens Center, Meals On Wheels, and Gunnison City Hall – Miles Millard, Stirba and Associates. 3)Proposed Public Transportation System – Bill Peterson – Palisade Pals 4)Update on New City Hall – Furnishings, Art, Progress –Janelle Overly, Design Concepts 5)Discuss New Sidewalk Project along 300 East – Transitions from roadway to River Walk 6)Miss Gunnison Valley Donation Request 7)Proposed Use of Answering Machine at City Hall and discussion regarding City Hall Hours of Operation 8)Seasonal Employment Request for Parks and Public Works –Matt Reber 9)Update Regarding Fire Department Building Completion 10)Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for March 2, 2010, and March 17, 2010 11)Identification of Issues to be Included on Future Agendas 12)Bills and Adjustments 10)Closed Session 13)Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-5(1)(a) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (i) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435) 528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
