5:30 – Budget Meeting – The budget meeting will be held in the conference room in the Midway Community Center. The public is welcome to attend. 1. Tentative FY 2011 Budget – Consider Recommendations for the Tentative Fiscal Year 2010-2011 City Budget 6:30 – Briefing Meeting/Department Reports – The briefing meeting will be held in the conference room in the Midway Community Center. No official action will be taken and the public is welcome to attend. 7:00 – City Council Meeting 1. Opening Remarks or Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance; Roll Call 2. General Consent Calendar Be it hereby moved that the following general consent calendar items stand approved: a. Agenda for the 14 April 2010 City Council Regular Meeting b. Warrants c. Minutes of the 10 March 2010 City Council Regular Meeting d. Resolution 2010-11 Establishing Various Planning and Zoning Application Fees and Amending the Annexation Application Fee e. Ordinance 2010-10 Amending Title 4 of the Midway City Municipal Code Regarding Capital Facilities Project Reporting f. Ordinance 2010-14 which Repeals Various Ordinances Related to Taxes and Fees and Adopts Various Chapters in Title 4 (Revenue and Finance) of the Midway City Municipal Code Related to Taxes and Fees 2. Development Consent Calendar Be it hereby moved that the following development consent calendar items stand approved: a. Summer Concert Series (Russ Watts) – Receive a Presentation Regarding a Summer Concert Series Proposed by Various Community Organization 4. David Clawson Consulting (David Clawson) – Discuss and Possibly Grant a Business License for David Clawson Consulting, Located at 171 South 580 East, for Telephone and Offsite Consulting for Asphalt and Concrete Plants 6. White Summit Engineering (Sheryl Larsen) – Discuss and Possibly Grant a Business License for White Summit Engineering, LLC, Located at 1365 West 365 North, for Industrial Engineering and Consulting 7. Streamline Concepts (Larry Larsen) – Discuss and Possibly Grant a Business License for Streamline Concepts, LLC, Located at 1365 West 365 North, for Industrial Engineering and Consulting 8. Ordinance 2010-03/Transient Rental Properties – Ordinance 2010-03 Amending Title 7 (Business Licenses and Regulations) and Title 16 (Land Use) of the Midway City Municipal Code Regarding Transient Rental Properties. Recommended by the Midway City Planning Commission. a. Public Hearing – Receive Public Comment on the Ordinance b. Action – Discuss and Possibly Adopt the Ordinance 10. Ordinance 2010-11/Sensitive Lands Amendments – Ordinance 2010-11 Amending Title 16 (Land Use) of the Midway City Municipal Code Regarding Sensitive Lands. Recommended by the Midway City Planning Commission. a. Public Hearing – Receive Public Comment on the Ordinance b. Action – Discuss and Possibly Adopt the Ordinance 11. Ordinance 2010-12/Multi-Family Dwellings – Ordinance 2010-12 Amending Title 16 (Land Use) of the Midway City Municipal Code Regarding Multi-Family Dwellings. Recommended with Conditions by the Midway City Planning Commission. a. Public Hearing – Receive Public Comment on the Ordinance b. Action – Discuss and Possibly Adopt the Ordinance 12. John Huber Subdivision/Capital Improvements (Marie Sabey) – Discuss and Possibly Return Funds for Capital Improvements Associated with the John Huber Subdivision Located at 200 North and 400 West Recess (10 Minutes) 13. 200 North Project/Construction Standards – Discuss and Decide Upon the Construction Standards to be Used for the Replacement of the Water Line along 200 North between 100 West and 200 West 14. Community Center Roof Repair – Discuss Repairs to the Roof of the Midway Community Center Located at 160 West Main Street 15. Department Reports 16. Closed Executive Session to Discuss the Character, Professional Competence, or Physical or Mental Health of an Individual 17. Ice Rink Contract – Discuss and Possibly Award a Contract to Operate the Midway City Ice Rink for the 2010-2011 Season 18. Adjournment
