NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on March 17, 2010 at the Gunnison City Hall, 34 East 100 North, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Local Building Authority of Gunnison City, Utah 1) Consideration of the Adoption of a Resolution of the Local Building Authority of Gunnison City, Utah Calling a Public Hearing and Giving Notice of Intent to Issue Not More Than $275,000 of its Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2010 for Improvements to the New City Hall and Related Improvements; Fixing the Maximum Interest Rate, Maturity, and Discount of the Bonds; Calling a Public Hearing and Authorizing Notice Thereof; And Related Matters. Gunnison City, Utah Council Business 2)Consideration of the Adoption of a Resolution Approving the Adoption by the Local Building Authority of Gunnison City, Utah of a Parameters Resolution Authorizing Not More than $275,000 Lease Revenue Bonds for Improvements to the New City Hall and Related Matters 3)Temporary Use Permit -Wolverine Gas & Oil –Charlie Irons –Renewal of Permit 4)Temporary Use Permit - Wasatch Environmental Representatives-- Lee Barrus and Les Pennington 5)Proposed Memorandum of Understanding for City Council’s Approval Regarding Senior Citizens Center—and Gunnison City Hall--Mike McMahon and Reed Roberts—Meals on Wheels 6)Discuss ‘Rock into Spring Initiative’Regarding the Partnership with Citizens and the City, and the Addition of Gravel to the City Streets 7)Proposed Repair of Grass and Sprinklers on Cemetery Road from Sewer Project 8)Discuss Possible Benefits of Mayor and Council Attending Utah League of Cities & Towns Midyear Conference 9)Discussion Regarding Large City Purchase Protocol 10)Review of Current Budget and Financial Status of City 11)Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for March 2, 2010. 12)Identification of Issues to be Included on Future Agendas 13) Bills and Adjustments 14) Closed Session 15) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-5(1)(a) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (i) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435) 528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
