NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold multiple Public Hearings along with its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Invocation 2) 7:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Public Hearing to Receive Public Comment Regarding a Proposed Application to the Community Impact Board for a Park/Pool Improvement Project including Funding Options, Project Scope, Implementation Schedule and its effects on Residents 3) 7:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Public Hearing Receiving Public Comment to Consider Potential Projects for which Funding may be Applied for under the CDBG Small Cities Program for Program Year 2016 including the expected amount of CDBG Funds and a Review of Previously Funded Projects 4) 8:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Public Hearing to Receive Public Comment Regarding a Proposed Property Purchase at Approximately 155 South Main including Funding Options and the Proposed Loan from the City's Irrigation Fund to the General Fund for this Purpose 5) Public Comment 6) Proposed Approval to Pursue CIB Funding for a Park/Pool Improvement Project 7) Proposed Approval to Pursue CDBG Funding 8) Proposed Approval to Move Forward with the Purchase of Property at Approximately 155 South Main Loaning Money from the Pressurized Irrigation Fund to the General Fund to Fund this Expenditure 9) Proposed Approval of Malcolm Powell as a Part-time Police Officer ~ Chief Halliday 10) Proposed Approval of Expenditure Using Funds from the Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund for Further Cemetery GIS Programming 11) Proposed Approval of Expenditure for GVHS Yearbook Ad 12) Proposed Approval of Expenditure for Gunnison Valley Phone Directory Ad 13) Review Council Assignments 14) Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, January 6, 2016, Open and Closed Sessions 15) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 16) Future Items 17) Closed Session 18) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
