- Every two years - following municipal elections - the Utah League of Cities and Towns presents municipal official workshops at locations around the state. These workshops are geared towards newly elected officials and those officials who are interested in a 'refresher' course. Each session lasts approximately four hours and includes a copy of newest edition of The Municipal Official's Powers and Duties Handbook.
