NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Invocation 2) Public Comment 3) Proposed Approval of New P&Z Committee Members with Mayoral Appointment to Follow 4) Proposed Approval of Gunnison City Resident to Represent at-large Member of Nominating Committee for New Hospital Board Member 5) Proposed Approval of Bids for Road Improvements ~ Councilmember Carlisle 6) Proposed Approval of Support for Community Activities, Gunnison Market Trunk or Treat in October and the Santa Run in November ~ Councilmember Judy 7) Proposed Approval of Quote for Employee Health Care Coverage 8) Review City Nuisance Ordinance 9) Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, October 7, 2015, Open and Closed Sessions 10) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 11) Future Items 12) Closed Session 13) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-5(1) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, if public discussion of the transaction would: (i) disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration; or (ii) prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms.
