NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting and Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Gunnison City Hall, 34 East 100 North, beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Administration of Oath of Office to Mayor and City Council Members 2) New City Hall Plans and Update with Architect Scott Lloyd of KMA & Associates; Senior Citizen Input 3) Assignment of Council Duties 4) Council Training Opportunities, General Goals, Possible Mission Statement for City for 2010, City’s Participation in Utah League of Cities and Town’s Benchmark Project – Comparative Studies Conducted by University of Utah and BYU MPA Program 5) Youth City Council Day at the Legislature – January 27 6) Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Regular & Closed Session Minutes for November 17, 2009 and December 1, 2009 City Council Meeting Minutes 7) 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. – PUBLIC HEARING to Receive Public Comment on Applying for UDOT Enhancement Funds for Revitalization of Main Street 8) 8:45 p.m. – Gunnison Valley Riding Club – Beth Wilson and Claudia Sanborn 9) Proposed Approval of Ordinance 2010-1 City Council Meeting Schedule 10) Proposed Approval of Business License for BC Media Located at 111 North Main – Brady Crane 11) Proposed Approval of Business License for Christensen Arms Located at 550 North Cemetery Road 12) Replacement of Christmas Decorations – Council Member Jensen 13) Identification of Issues to be Included on Future Agendas 14) Bills and Adjustments 15) Closed Session 16)Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order.
