INVITATION TO BID
DESCRIPTION: Aurora City (“Owner”) is seeking competitive bids for the purpose of constructing upgrades to the city’s fire station including new windows, doors, electrical, plumbing and heating upgrades- construction of additional bays, dressing and storage areas. Performance and payment bonds will be required.
OBTAINING BID DOCUMENTS: Copies of bid documents may be obtained for a cost of $50.00 after February 16, 2015 at the Aurora City Offices located at 20 S. 120 E. Aurora, UT from 1:00 – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday or if other arrangements need to be made email cjohnson@auroracity.org.
RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids must be received by Aurora City at 20 South 120 East no later than 4:00 o’clock p.m. on March 16, 2015. Bids sent electronically, faxed or attempts to communicate bids orally will not be accepted. If mailed, it is the responsibility of the contractor to insure that the documents are received by the due date and time. Mailed documents should be addressed to PO Box 477, Aurora, UT 84620.
Construction of the project will be started and competed in the Spring/Summer of 2015. Aurora City shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids at their discretion. All questions relative to the project prior to the opening of the bids shall be directed to the ENGINEER for the project.
