DISCUSSION ITEMS: 1:00 p.m. – Salt Lake FBI discussion regarding Pharmacy Security Measures. 2:00 p.m. – David Barrow (monthly interview) 2:15 p.m. – Paul Lund, discussion regarding controlled substance application. 2:30 p.m. – Jeremy Boyle (new Order) 2:45 p.m. - Discussion regarding Principle Pharmacy Group request to provide additional pharmacist resources by using remote order verification. -Report on where we are at with the Controlled Substances Data Base and daily reporting (either real-time or next day). - Pharmacy Technician Program review: Enterprise Valley Pharmacy. - Review Mark Akagi’s continuing education for approval. INFORMATIONAL: Limited Online Prescribing Rule Hearing scheduled for January 11, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., Room 474 in the Heber Wells Building, 160 E 300 S, Salt Lake City. Comments accepted until January 14, 2010. NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING: January 26, 2010 Meetings scheduled for the next quarter: February 23, 2010; March 23, 2010 and April 27, 2010.
