AMERICAN FORK CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 27, 2009 NOTICE OF REGULAR SESSION & AGENDA REGULAR SESSION The American Fork City Council will meet in a regular session on October 27, 2009, in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street, commencing at 7:30 p.m. The agenda shall be as follows: 1. Pledge of Allegiance; prayer by Debby Lauret; roll call. 2. Twenty-minute public comment period – limited to two minutes per person. 3. Presentation of Community Service Awards. 4. Report of the American Fork Library. – Library Director Sheena Parker 5. Council Reports. 6. Mayor’s Report. COMMON CONSENT AGENDA (Common Consent is that class of Council action that requires no further discussion or which is routine in nature. All items on the Common Consent Agenda are adopted by a single motion unless removed from the Common Consent Agenda by the Mayor or a Councilmember and placed in the action items.) 1. Approval of the October 8, 2009 work session minutes. 2. Approval of the October 13, 2009 regular session minutes. 3. Approval of the City bills for payment and purchase requests over $1,000. ACTION ITEMS 1. Review and action on appointments to citizen committees & boards, council committees & boards, and city staff positions. – Mayor Thompson 2. Review and action on a Resolution indicating the City’s intent to annex the Rogers Annexation consisting of 4.523 acres at approximately 220 East 1500 South. – Robert & Denise Rogers 3. Review and action on subdivisions, commercial projects, condominiums, and PUD’s including 1) plat approval; 2) method of satisfaction of water rights requirements; 3) posting of an improvement bond or setting of a time frame for improvement installation; and 4) authorization to sign the final plat and acceptance of all dedications to the public and to have the plat recorded. a. Review and action on Robinson Ranch Plat C, a Re-Subdivision of Lots 21 and 22 of Robinson Ranch Plat B, located at 38 East and 44 East 1450 North. – Ken Berg 4. Review and action on a replacement bond for Temple Ridge Development. – Andy Spencer 5. Review and action on the granting of an Alcoholic Beverage License for the Yapona Japanese Restaurant at 466 North 900 West #C & D. – Chiahung Liu 6. Review and action on construction items including change orders and tasks orders. – Staff 7. Review and action on entering into an executive session regarding the sale of real property. 8.
