NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA FOR THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF SPRINGVILLE, UTAH . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . September 9, 2008 Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Springville will hold a public meeting in the Council Chambers of the Springville City Civic Center (50 South Main) on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. The meeting will commence at 7:00 p.m. This will be a public meeting where testimony will be heard and action will be taken on the agenda items. The Springville City Planning Commission will meet with the City Council for a briefing of the agenda items at 6:00 p.m. in the Springville City Civic Center, Council Chambers. The agenda for the Commission meeting to follow will be as follows: 1. Call to order: Approval of Agenda Approval of Minutes: 2. * Consideration of the Consent Agenda a. Clay Liston seeking site plan approval for Tunex located at 745 South 1950 West in the HC – Highway Commercial zone. 3. Legislative Session a. Gordon Livingston seeking to amend Title 11 of the Springville City Municipal Code regarding Off-Street Parking, §11-6-113(6)(a) Parking Spaces Required. i. Public Hearing ii. Consideration b. David Simpson seeking to amend the Official Zoning Map at about 310 East 950 South from R2, Residential Single or Two Family to RMF-1, Residential Multi-Family zone. i. Public Hearing ii. Consideration c. Alan Ellis seeking site plan and conditional use approval for Pet Central located at about 714 and 716 South Main Street in the CC – Community Commercial zone. i. Public Hearing ii. Consideration d. Frank Johnson seeking site plan and conditional use approval for Speed-E-Crete located at about 200 South 2000 West in the RC – Regional Commercial zone. i. Public Hearing ii. Consideration e. Springville City seeking site plan and conditional use approval for the Springville City Satellite Fire Station #42 located at about 442 South Canyon Road in the R1-10, Residential zone. i. Public Hearing ii. Consideration f. Springville City seeking to abandon and vacate 1500 West at about 400 South to 1050 South in the VC – Village Center and R1-8, Single Family Residential zone. i. Public Hearing ii. Consideration 4. Administrative Session ! PUBLIC COMMENT MAY BE ACCEPTED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE CHAIRMAN The City will provide reasonable accommodations for anyone attending this meeting. Copy of agenda delivered to the Mayor, City Council members, Planning Commission members, City Attorney and mailed/faxed to adjacent cities, Utah County and Nebo School District. Agenda posted on the bulletin boards in the City Civic Center on September 5, 2008. *The Consent Agenda includes items that are administrative actions where no additional discussion is needed. When approved, the recommendations in the staff reports become the action of the Commission. The Consent Agenda provides an opportunity for public comment. If after the public comment the Commission removes an item from the consent agenda for discussion, the item will keep its agenda number and will be added to the Administrative Session for discussion, unless placed otherwise by the Commission.
