NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold a City Council Meeting Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center beginning at 12:00 Noon. 1) Invocation 2) Proposed Approval of Proposed Change in Zoning at Approximately 520 South Main from R&C-1 (Residential & Commercial) to CC-1 (Commercial Zoning) 3) Proposed Approval of Proposed Change in Zoning at Approximately 75 West 200 North from R-2-10 (Single Family Residential to CC-1 (Commercial Zoning) 4) Proposed Approval of Proposed Change in Zoning at Approximately 258 North Main from R&C-1 (Residential & Commercial) to CC-1 (Commercial Zoning) 5) Discuss and Proposed Approval Plans and/or Assistance of Veterans Memorial Project ~ Jed Bartholomew 6) Proposed Approval of Impact Fees for New Building at Approximately 290 North 100 West 7) Proposed Approval of Expenditure for Affordable Care Act Mandates 8) Proposed Approval City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, June 18, 2014, Open Session 9) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 10) Future Items 11) Closed Session 12) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-5(1) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, if public discussion of the transaction would: (i) disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration; or (ii) prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms.
