NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Invocation 2) Proposed Approval of Swimming Pool Part-time Employees ~ Supervisor Robert Sorensen 3) Discuss and Proposed Approval of Resolution 2014-8, Amending Water Rates ~ Council Member Donaldson and Council Member Jensen 4) Discuss and Proposed Approval of Resolution 2014-9, Establishing a Fee for the Main Street Bond Payment 5) Proposed Approval of Prosecuting City Attorney 6) Discuss 4th of July Celebration ~ Council Member Carlisle 7) Discuss and Proposed Approval of Pursuing Truth in Taxation 8) Budget Review 9) Proposed Approval City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, May 21, 2014, Open and Closed Sessions 10) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 11) Closed Session 12) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-5(1) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, if public discussion of the transaction would: (i) disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration; or (ii) prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms.
