OF THE VINEYARD TOWN COUNCIL
February 26, 2014 at 7:00 pm

Public Notice is hereby given that the Vineyard Town Council will hold a Public Hearing and Regular Meeting on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 starting at 7:00 p.m., in the Vineyard Town Hall; 240 East Gammon Road, Vineyard, Utah. The agenda will consist of the following:

6. BUSINESS ITEMS:
6.1 DISCUSSION – Lakeside 2 Power Plant Project Update (10 minutes)
Bob Van Engelenhoven of PacifiCorp/Rocky Mountain Power will update the Mayor and Town Council on the status of the Lakeside 2 Power Plant.
6.2 DISCUSSION – Open and Public Meetings Training
Vineyard Attorney, David Church, will present annual training on Open and Public Meeting procedures and requirements. This training will be attended by the Town Council as well as members of the Planning Commission. This training is provided annually pursuant to Section 52-4-104 of the Utah State Code.
6.3 PUBLIC HEARING – Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to create new regulations for signs (10 minutes)
The Mayor and Town Council will hear comments from the residents of Vineyard on the proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to create new regulations for signs.
The Mayor and Town Council will take appropriate action.
6.4 DISCUSSION AND ACTION – Larry H Miller Megaplex (10 Minutes)
The proposed Geneva Mill Megaplex will include a 13 screen 77,674 square foot movie theater. The site is part of a 24 acre commercial shopping center. The Mayor and Town Council will take appropriate action.
6.5 DISCUSSION AND ACTION – Public Safety Building (10 Minutes)
The Mayor and Town Council will continue the discussion on the public safety building. The Mayor and Town Council will take appropriate action.

The Town Council may vote to go into Executive Session pursuant to Utah State Code 52-4-204 and 52-4-205.
Other Information
NOTE: “Open Session” is defined as time set aside for citizens to express their views. Each speaker is limited to three minutes. Because of the need for proper public notice, immediate action will not be taken in the Council Meeting. If action is necessary, the item will be listed on a future agenda, however, the Council may elect to discuss the item if it is an immediate matter of concern.
The Public is invited to participate in all Town Council meetings.
