February 10, 2014
Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of Price City, Utah, will hold a Regular Meeting in the Council Chambers, 185 East Main, Price, Utah, at 5:30 PM on 02/12/2014. The Mayor reserves the right to modify the sequence of agenda items in order to facilitate special needs.

11. FRONT END LOADER PURCHASE-Project No. #2E-2013, Bids were received and opened on January 16, 2014. Bid were submitted by Century Equipment (Case621F) $136,785; Arnold Machinery (Volvo L60G) $133,479; Honnen Equipment (John Deere 544K) $134,058.11; Wheeler (930KCat) $169,775. The City has the right to accept or reject any or all bid offers and to waive any informality or technicality in any bid proposal; further, the City can consider the bid and compliance with the specifications and any reasonable exceptions. After considering each piece of equipment, compliance with the specifications to include reasonable & unreasonable exceptions and bid price, it was determined by staff that the John Deere 544K loader best fits the specifications and the City’s needs. Delivery is estimated at 10 weeks from date ordered. It is recommended that the loader purchase be awarded to Honnen Equipment Company. It is within available Class C Road funding.

16. PROCLAMATION- Authorization for Mayor Piccolo to sign the annual Arbor Day Proclamation to support the efforts to care for our trees and woodlands and to support our City's Community Forestry Program.
17. CONTRACT. Consideration and possible approval of a contract for professional services between Price City and Better City (Consultant) to complete a Price City Commercial Business License Compliance Study and Business Notification Project.
18. 100 NORTH PRICE RIVER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (Project #12C-2013) Authorization of Cooperative Agreement with UDOT to accept $8,450 in funding to aid in removal of sediment from west side of Price River under 100 North bridge.
19. PUBLIC HEARING - Authorization to set a Public Hearing on February 26, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. to receive input on the Fiscal Year 2013-2014 mid-year budget revision.
20. BUDGET CALENDAR - Approve 2014-2015 Budget Calendar.
21. POLICE OFFICER EMPLOYMENT OFFER-Approval of employment to the police officer candidate scoring the best overall result of the oral interview and practical application process. Successful candidate can be provided verbally at City Council meeting.
