NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold a City Council Meeting Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Invocation 2) Administration of Oath of Office to New Mayor and City Council Members 3) Public Comment 4) Update on Culinary Water Project~ John Iverson, Sunrise Engineering 5) Proposed Approval of Ordinance 2014-1, City Council Meeting Schedule for 2014 6) Review and Discuss Council Assignments 7) Discuss Development of Economic Committee 8) Discuss Possible Attendance to EDC Utah New Investor Orientation 9) Future Items to be Listed on Agenda 10) Proposed Approval City Council Meeting Minutes for Monday, January 6, 2014, Open Session 11) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 12) Closed Session 13) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-5(1) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, if public discussion of the transaction would: (i) disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration; or (ii) prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms.
