Canyon View Jr High Community Council Jan 10, 2014 1. Call to Order: 2. Minutes From Previous Meeting: Minutes of Canyon View Jr. High School-Community council Meeting Oct. 25, 2013 12:30 p.m. Held in Yvonne Jensen’s classroom Members Present- Jim Jones, Roma Brotherson, Ryan Hepworth, Dean Stilson, Yvonne Jensen, Vicky Holmes, Brooke Peterson, Lacy Faimalo, Shellet Rowley, Joyce Guymon Member Absent- Teresa Guymon Elections: Joyce nominated Brooke as Chair Roma seconded and the voting was unanimous. Lacy Faimalo remains as Vice-Chair; no action taken. Vicky nominated Joyce as Secretary. Shellet seconded. Joyce nominated Shellet as Secretary. Yvonne seconded. Joyce was elected Secretary by a secret ballot majority vote. Business: The decision was made to have 10 members on the community Council. Lacy made the motion, Dean seconded and the voting was unanimous. Training on duties & responsibilities of SCC. No Council input. Next Meeting - Friday, Jan 10. 12:30 p.m. Dean made motion to approve minutes from previous meeting held on Wednesday, August 15, 2013. Vicky seconded followed by a unanimous vote.
