MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE CITY NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Marriott-Slaterville City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, August 20, 2009, at the Municipal Complex, 1570 West 400 North. The meeting shall begin at 6:30 P.M. with the agenda as follows: CITY COUNCIL MEETING – THURSDAY, AUGUST 20, 2009 – 6:30 P.M. 1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Approval of minutes. 3. Business licenses: a. Destiny’s Place, 1045 S 1200 W, #42, Online Sales b. Hi-Tech Cars & Trucks, 875 W 1200 S, Vehicle Sales c. Clean Cut Cabinets, 1618 S 1100 W, Suite #A. Cabinet Shop. d. D.C. Fence, LLC., 927 West 12th, Fencing e. Greenwood Cabinets and Word Working, 1615 S 1100 W, Cabinet Shop. 4. Guest Speaker: John Ulibarri, Deputy Weber County Property Tax Assessor. 5. Discussion on future land use planning south of 1200 South. 6. Discussion/action on status of the 400 North Reconstruction and creation of three-member joint committee for construction management consisting of one member from each branch of city government and the project manager construction engineer. 7. Sheriff’s appreciation dinner on September 17, 2009, at Farr West Park: Matt Bell. 8. Executive session to discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual, and deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems. 9. Discussion/action on Resolution 200-I concurring with mayor’s authority to enter personnel contracts. 10. Officer reports and legislative oversight. 11. Adjourn until September 17, 2009. CERTIFICATE OF POSTING AND NOTICE The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda was sent via facsimile to the Ogden Standard-Examiner, and mailed to Weber County, Ogden, Harrisville, Farr West, West Haven, Plain City, Bona Vista Water District, and Central Weber Sewer District. The notice and agenda was also posted on the Utah Public Meeting Notice Website, delivered to the mayor and councilors, and posted in three (3) public places within Marriott-Slaterville City on or about August 13, 2009. These public posting places being: 1) Municipal Complex, 2) Chevron on Pioneer Road, 3) America First at 12th & 12th. Items not meeting deadlines are omitted from the agenda.
