NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold a Public Hearing along with its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Invocation 2) 7:00 p.m. Public Hearing to Receive Public Comment on Proposed Amendments to Section 1716 and Section 1717 related to Residential Facilities for Persons with a Disability and Proposing new Sections Related to Therapeutic Schools and Outdoor Youth Programs with Proposed Approval 3) 7:00 p.m. Public Hearing to Receive Public Comment on a Proposed Change in Zoning at Approximately 396 South Main-424 South Main to Commercial Zoning, Freedom Ford with Proposed Approval 4) Discuss EDC Membership and Formation of Economic Development Council 5) Discuss Slight Modification and Other Uses at the Plaza with Proposed Approval 6) Proposed Approval of the Legacy Wall MOU in Collaboration with the Casino Star 7) Review Storm Drainage Issues within the City and Proposed Approval 8) Discuss Veteran's Memorial-Location Change for World War II Cannon 9) Discuss Christmas Lighting, Holiday Events and Light Parade 10) Future Items to be Listed on Agenda 11) Proposed Approval City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, October 30, 2013, Open Session and Wednesday, November 6, 2013, Open and Closed Sessions 12) Proposed Approval Bills and Adjustments 13) Closed Session 14) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-5(1) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, if public discussion of the transaction would: (i) disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration; or (ii) prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms.
